Larry "Bunky" Jackson, Jr. 
Larry Jackson, Jr. has been the guitar player for Southern Star Bluegrass for the past 21 years. Coming from a musical family, Larry's father was the 2 time Florida State Banjo Champion. Larry started playing when Larry Sr. started to learn the
guitar and switched to the banjo in 1975. Larry started playing music professionally in 1975 with a group called the Bluegrass Little Bits from Auburndale, Florida.

1951 D28 CF Martin that was given to him by Larry Sr.
1970 D28 CF Martin that was a treasured gift From Dorothy his wife.
1967 D18 CF Martin that was purchased from a close friend.
2007 “ Southern Star” Malaposa custom made guitar that was a gift from luthier John Alden Robinson in Arizona.
1957 L1 Gibson Guitar that was a gift from Woody and Dorothy Woods.
Larry currently works for Emerson Network Power in
Florida
as a Technical Support Engineer
and keeps a busy schedule with family and work.
