Royce Burt

 

This is our longtime banjo player, Royce Burt. He has been with Southern Star Bluegrass for over 18 years. He also plays fiddle from time to time and does some twin fiddle work with Steve at most shows. He also restores vintage musical instruments specializing in antique violins. Royce comes from a musical family in the small community of Cork, Florida . Royce's family have been playing bluegrass and country through the last 30 years. He plays several pre-war Gibson banjos.
